Project 5: Awesome Script
”It's time to put that Shape Layer knowledge to work. You will, quite literally, be animating Awesome.” - School of Motion

In this assignment, students were tasked with choosing 1 of 3 typographic scripts of the word “Awesome” and to animate it using trim paths and alpha mattes. Additionally, we were encouraged by to incorporate our own design thinking into this project.

I personally challenged myself to focus on designing with-in the value scale and limit my use of color. I was also inspired by design of title cards in early cinema.
