In the summer of 2021, the California Center for the Arts exhibited concurrent shows, Crafting Memory: Allied Craftsmen of San Diego and Pattern&Place.
Pattern&Place
Pattern & Place is an exhibition featuring artworks rooted in ideas of home and community. In this show, “place” both joins and describes memory in our recollections of space and sphere. A physical home may change, as we move between houses, cities, or countries, but the feelings our homes inspire might remain the same.
