Tenney Rizzo

Designer by daylight, artist by moonlight, Tenney is classically trained in Art & Design with a BFA in Studio Art from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. Tenney has spent the last six years applying her knowledge and technique into her work in branding, design, and marketing, both as an in-house and freelance graphic designer.  She currently works for Civilian Agency, in downtown San Diego, as a Production Artist, working with government and health care clients, and for Operant Media as an Alchemistic of Aesthetics, designing events and activations for Amazon Prime Video. Previously, she worked as a Graphic Designer for the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Additionally, she has a fine art studio in Liberty Station, San Diego. Tenney’s designs comes from a very eclectic collection of taste and styles, but her design philosophy is most heavily influenced by modernist painters use of color and shape.
